During the 8th Grade, I was heading to Springfield, IL for a class trip, and wanted to take pictures while I was there. I bought a Kodak Instamatic and 3 rolls of Plus X Film. Never underestimate how a simple thing like that can alter your life and set you on a path that you will enjoy forever.
When I got into my Sophomore Year of High School, I had the opportunity to join the Yearbook Staff and I was hooked.
I’ve been blessed with three careers in my life. Commercial Photography, Roller Skating Rink Management, and Technical Project Management. I’ve used my photography along the way to enhance every position, whether it be for Marketing, Executive Presentations, and Corporate Websites.
Photography has changed immensely over the years. It’s grown; it’s evolved. From large format cameras using sheet film, to 35mm, to low resolution digital, and now to high-resolution mirrorless cameras, it’s made exciting advances. It’s been the one constant in my life since I was a child that never failed to keep offering me more to see and more to do. It’s been a journey that I’ve enjoyed since elementary school.
